Preparation and Integration Support for Psychedelic Therapy

Psychedelic therapy is best understood as a process rather than a single experience. While much attention is often placed on the psychedelic experience itself, preparation and integration help shape how insights are understood and carried forward. These phases support safety, clarity, and the ability to translate experience into meaningful, lasting change.
Within my medical practice, I provide psychedelic-informed preparation and integration support as part of an integrative, mind-body approach to care. This work is appropriate for individuals who are exploring or have participated in psychedelic-assisted therapy and are seeking physician-guided support before or after an experience.

Integration is the process of reflecting on and making sense of a psychedelic experience over time. This phase is often where insights are clarified and connected to daily life, relationships, and long-term well-being.
